Might be of use to some of you guys, been wanting something sensible to hold my rifle in for cleaning the barrel, found this stanley multi position vice that can clamp to a kitchen worktop etc, plastic jaw covers to protect the barrel, not used it in anger yet but seems to hold the rifle pretty firm

Only works with the 'faces' of a fluted barrel!

Bipod? Rifle cleaning station / maintenance stand?

Clamping the barrel in a vice seems like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist to me.
