Sold: Rigby .275 Highland Stalker

I have seen your 275 Rigby post, and come back to it four times now. That is one beautiful rifle ! Just looking at it makes you want to pick it up and try it out. Someone is going to be very happy. Good luck with the sale.

Does it come with a shroud to cover up the threads for the mod? Can't believe it came like that? Can you show pics of the other side of the stock ( does it have a cheekpiece)
Bill.

Of course. It's a Rigby !!

Nope, it's symmetrical. Take a look at the Highland Stalker section on Rigby's web site, you'll get the idea.

I was also going to ask for pics of the other side but based on the answer too far for me to drive without been fairly confident that I am fully satisfied
I'm out

This is the hardly-used Rigby .275 Highland Stalker that I bought as-new in late-2018. Its stock is unmarked Grade 8 walnut in "Norfolk Best" oiled finish and is fitted with a leather covered pad. A Spartan classic gunsmith adaptor has been fitted with the approval of Rigby.

It is being sold fitted with a choice of moderator - either a Lawrence Precision titanium unit or a Rigby brand c/w a leather pouch - and a Ziegler quick-release scope mount system with 30mm rings.

My family talked me out of selling this earlier, but I'm not getting any younger and the gun has still fired fewer than 200 rounds since new. So I would rather it now went to someone who will enjoy it and who will be able to use it properly.

Price new today in Rigby's 'configurator' is slightly over £16,000 incl VAT. My price as described and shown here is £7,500.

More photos etc, are here:

Props for the proper sling too - a discerning owner!

Were you ever in?

Obviously if you are a genuine potential punter clutching £7500 I can send you as many pics - close-up, wide-angle, panoramic, you name it - that you want.

But if your yes/no is simply based on you not being satisfied with me telling you that each side is as pretty and un-marked as the other, and your suspicion that I'm trying to conceal some massive ding (I'm not), then I suppose it'll have to be a no.
