Roe bucks in March

Just defrosting my hands on a warm cup of coffee with the mind wandering to warmer days.
Looking forward to the evenings drawing out and the chance to see what Roe are showing up. Always been a favourite time of year with the Roe still bevied in groups in their favourite places year after year. Many happy hours spent watching them to see how they have fared during the winter.
Seen a few bucks starting to lose there velvet , nice to see.

Seems to have been a good year in most places. Have seen a lot of deer around while travelling and in places I have not seen them before.

The bucks starting would be the time of year i look forward to most and love seeing what surprises appear every year.Have a couple of bucks on the cameras that i've seen for 5 years now but still plenty newcomers to come in and a few already have this month.
Nothing really to knock their condition here and although we have 6 inches of snow in places it's not going to hit them hard for all the time it will last.

We have a very large group turning up every day. Sorry picture quality is not too good but you can just about make out the roe.

Saw a pair of bucks and a doe at the weekend in a field I’ve never seen them in before, both bucks half clean, put some cameras out to keep an eye on them
