I don't think I met Pete, my loss by the sound of it, but the condolences of me and my Admin colleagues go to this family. I cannot begin to imagine what they are feeling.

John if you had met Pete I am certain that you and he would have became friends.

At a show I first met Pete accompanied by his young son whilst he was still at school who informed me he was going to be a gamekeeper, which he is now. I answered a pm query from Pete a month or two ago. Life is cruel RIP a gentleman true.

RIP Pete and condolences to your wife and family. My trips to Frome market where we used to meet on a fairly regular basis will never be the same,we constantly ripped the "P" out of each other whenever or wherever we met up,you will be sorely missed.I am gutted

I met pete at this years H4H. Had a chat with him. I know he was well respected by so many at the shoot. A Very sad loss to his family and the shooting world. RIP.

I sold Pete a .22 rifle a few years ago through SD, he was a pleasure to speak to and was a really genuine decent guy.
Sincere condolences
RIP

:(

I'm really sorry to hear this news. I never met Pete personally but from threads here he was one of the good guys.

Condolences to his friends and family, I cant imagine what they are going through right now.

Rest in peace.

Terrible news, I only met Pete and his wife once when I went up to see his new 20 TAC. A lovely couple. It is such a sad news to loose such a great chap and steward for shooting sports.

My deepest sympathy to his family.

I heard about this earlier this weekend but didn't have time to sit at a keyboard. This is such a sad and pointless loss. I met Peter a couple of times at the H4H shoot and almost certainly served him lunch on both occasions. Later he offered to help me and my friends find some roughshooting in his part of the world when we lost out access to the one driven day we used top go to once a year. In the end it didn't work out but I really appreciated the fact that he was trying to help out so generously, not everyone is that kind.

My condolences to his family and friends.

Only met Peter once at the H4H shoot a couple years ago. Was a very nice gent to speak to, and a massive loss to the shooting world.

Gone but never forgotten.
