Rs powder for 243 Win

Hi chaps I am looking for some advice for a suitable RS powder for reloading 243. I use RS40 with my 223 and it works well and my local gunshop has good stocks of Rs powders. Im really just looking at a powder recommendation from RS 52,60,62 or 70 as in the book it gives load starts for all of them. Pushing 87Gr and maybe 65Gr Vmax if i can get hold of them. Im not looking for load data thanks just don't really want to buy more than one powder and wondered if anyone was using Rs in their 243.

I used to use RS60 with very good results in .243 win. Now using RS62 in 6 creed due to it having a 26” barrel and slower burn rate.

Ok that's good as can't find data for 87gr and 65gr in RS60

The current issue with RS powders is finding any, its not currently being imported and hasn't been for at least a year

We use RS62 in my brother's 243 with a 75grn vmax - great accuracy

I was warned off using RS powders in my .222 but Seeing as a 1kg gives me around 800 reloads I could t see too much of a problem!

RS62 worked a treat in my 243 for the 87 grain V-max .

Just checked , the max charge on the RS website (customer data)looks hot to me . So if you use that data work up with caution.

I use RS60 for 95gr bullets and RS50 for 58gr.

Both work very well.

I use both rs 60 & rs 62 in my 243 & 270. I cross reference load data with powders of a similar burn rate
