Safest way to get a rifle up a high seat?

Just have your man hand it up to you , butt first so if it goes off , at least it’s only a servant that gets it.

Failing to see a problem here at all.

I use a good line to pull up my gear and lower it .
if you slip or the rifle do's I bet to a man they will try to save the rifle first ! ! so I remove that from the list and a good padded slip doubles as a padded seat .

Do you know there is some ideas that life is more complicated than what it seems, often the easiest and more sufficient way to do something is the obvious head on way.

So many people now want an easier way to hunt , shoot etc. It’s got to the point there is no field craft in what we do and no real on the ground problem solving anymore.

Gone were the days where you find yourself wading through a river just climbing a dam fence, people just refuse now. There is no hardship in the hunt.

Take this subject, the best practice is to unload your rifle, securely put your rifle over you in a way that frees up your hands and climb, use a rope if you want to bring your gear up after but essentially keep your rifle with you at all times . Is there tech that can help with this , yes z-aim style slings help free up your hands but other than that it’s common sense.

People have genuinely forgotten the hardship needed in hunting for you to respect it more.

Folk will also spend thousands on trying bring the comforts of their house to stalking deer, instead of accepting being a wee bit wet and cold and saving ££££

We now have a new high seat which is very high, seat bit is 5M up due to terrain.

Im trying to think of the safest way to get a rifle up there, in the dark, which making as little noise as possible, without dropping or me falling off.

Perhaps a rope is the best option? If so how would you attach the rifle?
Check ladder first check rifle sling reload the rifle then off you pop up the ladder 🪜 jump into the seat boom boom 💥
