And there you have the problem with Sako encapsulated in a sentence. There is coming a new model which replaces 85.
one action size for all , already happenedI dread the day they decide to really d*ck about with the T3.
It may not be perfect, but as a reliable, functional tool it’s very hard to beat.
I occasionally toy with the idea of just buying one to have in reserve against the day they go out of production.
If they have something new my guess is it will probably be released at the IWA trade show in Germany in March.all will be revealed at SHOT in Vegas
genuine question: what don’t you like about it? I thought it looked a nice rifle?Hope its no the Sako 100 abomination..

Imagine a stutzen version of that...I’m surprised they haven’t produced their version of this which in one sense is really the future of the hunting rifle?

The problem with Sako is that they change the actions and their footprints more often than some people on here change their underwear.genuine question: what don’t you like about it? I thought it looked a nice rifle?
I’ve got an 85 finnlight in 6.5 x 55 and love it, but I liked the look of the 100, particularly the semi modular design
I mean it’s like they want you to have to buy a new rifle if something breaks…The problem with Sako is that they change the actions and their footprints more often than some people on here change their underwear.
They’re decent rifles but there are virtually no aftermarket accessories available because the market is so fragmented with too many different actions.
Regardless of model, Sako are pretty much break it and dump it rifles because of the lack of off the shelf spares and accessories.
I own one, an 85, but I wouldn’t buy another, just too many variables in the line up.
Apart from the Rihiimaki of courseI still think the Sako 75 was the best model
This is the main reason I got rid of my Sako 75 and got a Tikka T3. I miss being able to load the mag through the chamber but that's it.The problem with Sako is that they change the actions and their footprints more often than some people on here change their underwear.

Its the future!I’m trying to.
