hi guy's as i,m quite new too owning rifles was just wondering i,ve got a 30 cal moderator for my 270, would this also beable to be used on my 22/250 which arrives very soon or will i need to buy another. both sako's and same thread. cheers for any advice in advance stav

Stav,

You don't need to buy another. You DO however need both rifles to be conditioned to be used with moderator(s) on your FAC.

This will technicaly permit you to aquire two moderators, though you only need one.

surely the FAC condition will state moderator not size of moderator?
I have a sako quad with four barrels but not four mod slots. I just have "rimfire moderator" listed
I also have two "full bore" moderators listed, not associated with each rifle

the slot if for the mod not for the rifle to use the mod

mine states moderator to each rifle but does not state size, but i was only asking if the 30 cal could be used with the 22/250 which has been answered, and saved me some money.lol stav
