Scope for 22-250

I am also looking to get a decent scope for a 22-250 I will be purchasing in a couple of months time Sako 75

I have a budget of £900 been looking at the Delta Titanium HD 2.5-15 with either a 50 or 56mm objective is there any others to look at for that kind of budget

Dialling vari mag scope, sfp, side focus, up to 18/24 mag,

typically like a l4a dot reticle on the scope or mil dot as 2nd choice

I would take you up on that but I've put some money down on Sako 75 synth already

With that reticle you can choose from Leica to Hawke, Sightron sit in the middle of that price range and do similar reticles

For those sort of distances and your budget a fixed power 8x56 from S&B, Meopta, Swaro, or Zeiss will be hard to beat. I've got an 8x56 Swarovski on mine and it's perfect for my needs.

Before all the manufactures forced us down the variable route, 8x56 was very popular amongst gamekeepers, stalkers and on the continent for very good reason - it works!

Using Hawke Sidewinder 6-24 56 SF for the 22-250 and can recommend it. Very good for the specific purpose i.e. semi long hunting i.e. foxes. Also, not very heavy and also not high-end expensive.

For that budget and daylight use (ie no night day /night scope) I would go for a well kept SH S&Bender
