Scope Help

Hi Guys,

Needing some help looking for a new scope for a friend. Looking at a doctor 3-12 and duralyt 3-12 or z3 4-12. Anyone have these scopes? is the swaro worth double the money?? i have a swaro av 6-18, s&b 8x56 and meopta 4-12 and they are all pretty similar but i havent tried any of the above (and he doesnt want to copy me!?!?!lol).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

All of the above...personally I dont think the Z6 etc are worth double. Been there seen it done it.

I now base it all on value for money, not that optics are such but lately the new Minox stuff seems pretty good.

you cant go wrong with a z6 swaro but everyone has a budget including myself. i went for a zeiss duralyt 3-12 x 50 paid £598 for it and well worth the money

I have the Docter Classic 3-12x56 with the DBA reticle. I have not yet looked through better glass and I have had Zeiss, Schmidt, Swarovski, Leupold, Meopta, Nickel, Pecar, Nikon and Lisenfeld scopes over the years.
