I have that scope and the additional turret. The turret is handy if you want to go stalking and dial quickly to some set points after your zero, I had mine set with a 100m zero and then further points at 200m, 250m and 300m which was as far as I needed to shoot. If you are planning on ranging and dialling with more accuracy over more varied distances then the existing turrets (under the caps) are more than adequate for this.Been looking at these and some from meopter too. Always used Zeiss/S&B but hear good things about the aforementioned.
The scope itself is really good, I can see more with it in low light than the naked eye and darker than I am comfortable shooting. The mag range is very useful, 2.5 gives such a wide field of view it is great for thick woodland, while X15 is more than enough for targets and the furthest deer (for me at least). One of the best features is the reticule is very fine, so lends itself to precision shooting when needed, but with the illuminated centre dot means you'll always have a clear aiming point. With multiple levels of brightness you won't be blinded by it in low light and you will be able to still pick it out against a dark target in bright sunlight.
Due to the low base mag, parallax and lens coatings it works very well with add on NV. I have a Sytong HT-66 on mine so I can sit out for deer, when it starts to get too dark I can put on the Sytong and shoot deer up until the last possible legal minute then stay out longer for foxes.
I liked the Delta so much (and the price) that I now have the Stryker 4.5-30 for longer range and a 1.5-9 on a woodland stalking rifle.
