I have no idea what the problem was (it normally out of zero gradually over a week , it has been three days with no shift yet so fingers crossed) all I did was stip the gun , mounts , scope , cleaned it all then put it together tightly using locktight on the mounts. however everything was tight before so maybe something wasn't allighned properly ? also I have been given some advise that maybe my bipod (wich I have now removed) is causing some problems , so we shall see over the next few weeks. jc275 , sorry if I was abit short in my previous reply , you caught me at the wrong moment 
I use a leoupold rx 1000 I rangefinder , I don't dial in just hold over , which is why 300 - 320 is about my max , I lamp 4 nights a week and shoot a lot of corbies so get pleanty of practice, and I also shoot competitively with air rifles wich I think helps.
