Scotland advice

Hello all, looking for some advice on a Scotland trip. Mrs. M has been on about a family holiday to Scotland for ages - she spent 7yrs near Kyle as a kid and wants to go back. Luckily for me this comes with approval for a bit of stalking. Looking at 2024, dates undecided but will be made to coincide with seasons. Wondering if anyone has recommendations for guided red/sika? Not fussed on hinds or stags- that will be driven by dates. Also not fussed on trophies, cull beasts are fine- the experience is more important. Flexible on location, the NW coast isn't set in stone. Accomodation options suitable for 2 adults, 2 kids with rifle storage would be ideal, if not I could look at that separately.

Many thanks!

The choices are so vast that you’d be better settling on a location with the wife and locating stalking based on that.

Tell her where you are going on the basis of best stalking available and then sort accomadation would be the easiest way!!

If you want a bit of a treat and earn some brownie points, you could always look at the Glen Clova Hotel in the Angus Glens. Field sports friendly and a choice of accommodation. Not as far to travel as the North West, but a beautiful bit of the country.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have a look.
