When did you buy them? I paid for mine at 1645 hrs on Thursday! He only posted the advert at 1248 hrs! I think its a farce, certainly bending the trading laws on a "sale" to the limits

Well I've obviously been shaftedI ordered pintail trousers 4.00pm friday.
They arrived 12 noon saturday.

I just bought a pair of boots for the Missus, not in the sale, so I'm expecting the usual good service.
I wanted to go to the Newark gig, but got a little welding job on, I guarantee I won't miss the Kelso one.
It just sounds like my money wasn't good enough!

Unlucky? What happened to first come first served? That is what makes it annoying! Remember I bought them at 1630 hrs on THURSDAY!! I'll tell thee what! I'll never buy ****all off 'em again! Nor will any of my mates! And if me moneys not back in the bank tomorrow I'll be in castle douglas on Saturday!

We were simply inundated with Black Friday orders, and had a huge response, which meant we were still processing orders on Friday evening and this weekend.
It is simply unavoidable that some people were unable to get some items they had ordered as we had multiple people buying multiple items at the same time,
We processed all orders on a strictly, first in, first out basis, and no one was treated any differently.
Again if there is something I can do for you perhaps on another item, I will do what I can to resolve your frustration, but no one treated you unfairly, we processed all orders on a first come first served basis.

Are orders not logged by date and time of order , seems strange.

Yes ordered are logged by time and date, and processed in terms of stock allocated to orders as they come in, no one jumps the queue, but in terms of clearance items, if we have lots of orders for the same thing, those who ordered first get the stock allocated to them first, and sadly some people miss out. Thats the way it goes sometimes, but everyone was treated equally.
These items were clearance and sold at LESS than cost price to us, we have not given anyone priority above anyone else.

Could you not have the stock quantity setup on your website, there would be no issue then , and no concern about anyone jumping the queue so to speak

Come on guys, give them a break. I know it's frustrating to miss out on a good deal but they were good enough to offer them to forum members first and were probably overwhelmed with the response. Scott Country's customer service is very good and they go out of their way to help so please let's not allow this to descend into another black Friday brawl - we are better than that.
