lets us know if they fit, i have my doubts as the ones you have ordered have a pitch of 0.6mm yours looks closer to 0.8 pitch but obviously that is only a guesstimate from the photo.
 
If the M3.5 does not fit my guess then would be, a #6-32 UNC thread which has a nominal major diameter of 0.1380 inches (3.5mm) and 32 threads per inch ie 0.79mm (0.03125 inch).

Both metric and UNC have a root angle of 60 degrees.

And of course, the next thing @Foxyboy43 is going to buy is a pitch gauge.......just in case he has any more oooopppsss moments!:D
 
Result - thanks to esteemed member Chris and these good folk.
The head is very slightly smaller but contacts well. Remounted scope and fired 30 shots with the 6.5x55 SE yesterday - returned perfectly to zero and no scope movement detected. Happy bunny.
