As above are they a decent brand?
I’m liking some of their jackets/trousers but haven’t used them before. I know especially in the military kit world there are brands to avoid like Viper and webtex etc Is it the same in the stalking world.

Seeland are part of harkila brand and are good I have seeland and harkila kit and would recommend both

Made for a price in my opinion. I’ve got a couple of pairs of pants and a couple of jackets. They’re ok but don’t last that well and the membranes used generally leak pretty quickly and aren’t very breathable (even when new).

I have an older pair of leather fronted trousers by Seeland, they are extremely durable and comfortable, I have never seen another pair like them.

I have one of the first keeper suits they brought out.jacket is still 100% waterproof. I destroyed the trousers in one stalking season. It's good stuff

I've had one of thier "Keepers Jackets" in "Erase" camo for 4 or 6 years, good camo pattern, good design but its never been waterproof!!!

Two suits keeper and woodcock the jkts are like new still the woodcock i only started using this season but the keeper ones i wore for yrs till the mrs binned em in disgust ,i might look around for another pair if i survive long enough.

Thanks for the replies I like the look of the Hawker especially as they’re half the price of Fjallraven Barents Pro, but if they arnt going to last, I may as well go to Decathalon.

I’ve got a recent Seeland jacket and a couple of different pairs of trousers. The jacket is good and after one year has proved waterproof and somewhat breathable. The trousers, a couple of years older aren’t very waterproof now. The general quality is fair. If you compare them with their stablemate, Harkila, there really is no comparison. But then again, Harkila stuff comes at a premium price. I guess really, Seeland stuff is mid-market in terms of price and performance. There’s worse and better out there.

I have woodcock original jacket which I love on the peg or for more formal days a great hard wearing jacket for me. I also have the wood cock trousers now-again at the moment i can’t fault then.

I bought Seeland trousers on line, probably a year old now, lasting well but that’s probably because I never wear them as they’re so f***ing noisy!

Between me and my mates we’ve had Harkila and Seeland jackets and trousers which are supposed to be waterproof well they all leaked on the first outing up on the Welsh mountains utter rubbish all were binned or sent back save yourself some money and buy Decathlon it’s really good kit and at a reasonable price too , all the hunting lads are using it now including myself top notch stuff

Waterproof alright. But not a bit breathable I believe. So if it's a bit warm and you need to walk around some, you won't be all that dry in all those important little places.
