Hi all,
Just unpacked my new Photon from Scott Country.
All looks good but it would have been a good idea for them to make a wee video of how to set it up.
There is a small white tube, like conduit, in the kit. Can't figure out where that goes.
Can anyone help ?.
Thanks
Scott Country are only interested in selling you the kit and nothing else, I wanted to buy an item last week at trade and was told only if you are one of our listed suppliers and the prat on the other end wouldn,t budge. I told him that in the previous 2 weeks I had sorted out problems with 3 rifles using their units which would otherwise have been returned to them, checked over, returned to a peed off customer who has to go through the problem again, he wouldn,t budge so I told him he is now on my merde list and I am going to tell anyone else with a problem to send the kit back to them and make sure it goes on one of the forums so they are still on the merde list.
The Photon is not a bad unit for the price, I have one of the older ones with the turrets, no problem to zero, but it didn,t have that tube in the box. You have to get a mindset that it is not a normal scope and what you are going to do is completely different but once you get your head round it, its good kit. I have a 243 I built set up with a Picatinny rail and a set of mounts each (same) for a scope and the Photon and change as I need, I torque up each screw to the same setting on the mounts when I change over and the difference in zero is never more than 3/4 inch out and pretty well drops in by the third round, sounds fiddly but I thought I would try it and it works well.

That is a frankly outrageous post to make. I have had the pleasure of buying from Paul and the team at Scott a country on a number of occasions and cannot think of another company which takes more pride in their customer service. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they certainly care more about their customer satisfaction than just selling you a product.

It seems to me that whenever there is a complaint about Scott Country on close examination the complainant is more often than not the one at fault. I can only add to what others have said that whenever I have had dealings with Scott Country the service I have received has been second to none. Requests for help in sorting out problems with setting up night vision etc. have always been prompt and very efficient, in fact I think that Paul Stewart has a quite remarkable knowledge of the subject.
As a retailer they have to be certainly one of, if not, the best.
