More up the same valley.
Posts and wires to try to keep them out of other meadows.

good enough backstop for a cruise missile i reckon.
stag every picture you post is fantastic, i think you should post all you have.
i hav to agree to a point , but i think you will block the whole system, it would be good if you could post some of your more favourable pictures stag as you seem to be in the right place at the right time,
wot age were you stag when the camera took priority over your rifle, i am 37 and still hav not experienced the stalking you hav but the camera now goes everwhere i do, you are partly to blame as so are a few others of this site
kind regards

I must admit to waiting with baited breath for Mr Stag's picture posts. A true gentleman of the deer world and someone whom we can all learn from.
Thank you.

I am nearly 75 now and shot my first Deer in 1961, a Red Stag switch.
My mentor of the Roe was the late Bill Grant who told me that eventually I would seriously take up the camera, I did not believe him at the time but on most things Bill was right.
I gave up mountain stalking with the rifle a few years ago following open heart surgery and have used the camera much more.
Since Digital appeared it has become so simple and the gear weighs nothing.
I have Nikon Digital gear but every time I go out now I take a Panasonic LUMIX FZ18 with me.
This is the answer to the sportsmans prayers regarding cameras, it weighs nothing and has an 18X zoom lense and 8.1 MP resolution.

Photo of me with my second Red Stag in 1962, I had hair but no mountain boots in those days.

That's some beast Mr Stag and some gun too! Have you started writing your book about your experiences deer stalking yet? It certainly would be popular with the members of this site!
