Wanted: Shooting friend offer

I'm looking for a friend to accompany me when I go shooting. The successful person should be retired, or semi retired. They should have both centrefire ticket and shotgun ticket, and obviously able to demonstrate safety as a pre requisite. I'm not troubled if you have DS1, or DS2, in fact I would be happy to mentor you.

I have had a bad experience of "Friends", who like shooting, but they prefer to use a knife in your back approach to grasp your land from you....so hustlers need not apply. Contact me by PM with a short resume of yourself, including your shooting experience, your work career, and anything else that may make you stand out. Please include all contact details as well as the location you live in, but no need for home address.

Good Luck Patrick wish i lived near enough .

Thank you for your kind observations, to be honest I feel like withdrawing the offer and leaving this site!!
That would be a shame.
This site is good for many things, even though we all may cross swords from time to time or p1ss one another off.

If I'm in your area any time (which is not an impossibility) I'll gladly join you for a bit of company. Nice offer :tiphat:

OMG dangerous thing to offer , I am always glad to shoot with decent folks but the biggest fact is distance and cost , i rarely pay for stalking though i plainly work for myself and do my own hours . Oh and i very rarely pay money for my actual stalking , not that it doesn't cost me in other ways and favours .
Biggest part of stalking for me is of course the crack and you dont get much of that with some folks

Don't do that, you have made a very kind offer for someone.
Don't take the ribbing to heart in the.main they are a good bunch.on here that will help if they can but there is a fair bit of banter.
Agreed.

It is a shame when genuine opportunities are offered up on this forum and then the ’numpties’ step in with their unhelpful comments, which end up spoiling the post.

I find the ’ignore’ feature on this forum very useful for ensuring that I do not hear any more nonsense from these numpties.
