Located on a working sheep farm, 160 acres of farmland, including 5woods (50 acres) and flight pond (needs work), plus 300m of bank fishing on theForth.
Roe are very common on the ground, but occasional Red’s are being seen more often.
The woods can be good for woodcock and are excellent forpigeons and the big field ditches and pond commonly hold ducks. Geese are also a passing opportunity.
Hares and rabbits are excluded and due to close neighbouringshoots, pheasants will be restricted.
Zeroing and target practice allowed.
This is not a massive bit of land but would suit 1 to 2/3guns for rough shooting and roe culling and if you like a spot of bank fishingfor salmon & trout.
Initially offered 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Feb 14 to 28[SUP]th[/SUP]Feb 15. Renewable by agreement. Insurance required. DSC preferred, or other suitable stalking experience.

I will provide the price to those who enquire but please no disappointed posts, the land has to earn its keep (the sheep don't do it on their own!) and the Roe have not been shot for ~10 years. Plus this is not for a syndicate share, it is whole exclusive rights to you.

It may seem excessive to you, but if you break it down it seems quite reasonable...

£1200 split 3 ways is £400 each, and for that you get roe stalking, possible red or two, ducks geese, woodcock and pigeons, pheasant, plus salmon and trout fishing.
also somewhere to practice and zero

not that long ago there was a chap from down south on here saying he'd be willing to pay £3000 for his own bit of ground

Re the other thread. The client has named the price - if someone pays that then that's what the market has dictated.

If you bought one days stalking per month, 1 days fishing per month and one days roughshooting then you'd sped more!

Well don't join then. Simple. The OP specifically requested 'no disappointed posts'. To then come on here moaning that it's more than you were hoping to pay is very bit dis-respectful IMO. If he wanted the price and details advertised he would have posted himself! Like Si says, when broken down it doesn't appear to be bad value at all. You have sport all year round for the price of a small driven days game shooting.
The OP is going to sell this quite easily I would imagine and by going against his request may just have put other sellers off letting you join their shoots.

I won't comment further, but I do want to add to Baguio's point that these negative public comments etc, without even seeing or knowing the place, can be the very thing that puts people like me off even offering the land on here in the first place, it is what I feared would happen. It looks like it will easily sell and 3-4 people will get some nice shooting from it.

YET again we have a member offering a chance for someone to take stalking and AS USUAL we have the hanging committee.

If people want to apply and pay the money that's up to them. In future Admin will take a ZERO tolerance on this kind of comment. It is fair to say that were else will you find offers forthcoming and yet uncalled for remarks does put people off offering syndicate places or land to let.
