Shooting while pregnant - BASC guidance

Quite honestly, I cannot believe the amount of absolute drivel & piffle of some of the relpies to the initial post. I really can't. I'm stunned at the utter lack of common sense . If some of these comments are representative of our society today, & alas, it looks like they are, then it's no wonder we are being lead down the tracks which we are so willingly travelling.

Not sure which comments you are disagreeing with?

Lady Shotgun/FAC holders number at 6% of the total in England and Wales alone, (not sure how that then changes if Scotland is also taken into consideration), but if one can then identify what percentage of an already small number are likely to be pregnant it does make me question quite what value BASC expect this to bring to anybody 🤔

There may be a small number of SGC/FAC holders, but I would wager there would be significantly more ladies who shoot on their husbands/fathers/brothers etc tickets.

There is a whole branch of lady deer stalkers now. I took both the founding members out on one of the estates I manage several years back. I don't see what the issue is with any guidance being given to women who are pregnant. Whether its BASC, BDS what's the problem with that.

Deer stalking needs to be kept in the public eye, and helped along and in my opinion one finds many women are anti shooting. Therefore it makes every sense to encourage and involve as many people as possible with deer stalking.
I would also add that in most cases ladies are better listeners and as a rule better shots than some of the male clients I have had over the years.
