Short range focus with higher mag

I am looking for something with higher mag (say 15 or 18x) but with the ability to focus at 50 and even 25 yards, and a fine reticle, this is for 22 precision rested, I have found as I have aged I prefer higher mag scopes in most applications other than GR with a .357….i find after the first few shots I am aiming at the group as opposed to the centre of the target as it’s not clear always clear where that is! I have found a few options, but nothing jumping out at me - obj size can be smaller as it won’t be a last light scope.

I tried a zeiss duralyt and a swaro habicht I had laying around but both won’t focus with my eyes below 50 yards.

A vortex crossfire II 6-18 x 44 seems like it would be a good option, a friend has a 3-9x40 or maybe a 4-12 and it seems to focus at 25 yards ok, the 6-18 says parallax down to 10 yards…

Any suggestions?

I have Vortex Golden Eagle 15-60 with ultra fine reticle on my 308 but thinking to put one on my 22lr BR rifle if you want to spend that sort of money (2K for new) It also has 1/8 moa clicks which is very useful for any BR comp.
A lot of Nightforce scopes go down to 11 yards (Benchrest and the Competition) I also have Nightforce HSV 5-20 which is their lower end (still expensive) but does the job well.

Meopta Optika6 would be good glass and focus down to 10y. They're a bit on heavy side, I have no experience with Optika5 but would try to look through them if shopping for 22LR scope. They're around 22oz / 600gram mark.

This is another BR scope that many competitors use. Excellent scope for the price:

I have an optika 6 in 3-18x50. Adjustable parallax works well down to "close enough to poke it" range. Available with various reticles and in other mag ranges. Beautifully clear and bright, too.

The Leupold BR-36x AO scopes are useable at 25 yards & have parallax adjustment down to 50 feet. They aren’t made any longer but come up for sale often enough.

I have the Sightron S3 and it does focus down but I find it hard to see the reticle when that close. I have 3 Delta Titanium scopes and they focus down very close even on high mag (X9, X15 and X30) and have no issues seeing the reticles. The 4.5-30 Stryker is very good.

Second the Sightron Sll 36x42, use them on both my competition rifles, brilliant for both 25 and 50m.
Depending on whose rules you are shooting to weight may be a consideration.

You need a scope with variable parallax adjustment down to at least 20 yards.

I’ve seen many posts on this site that singularly fail to recognise a crisply focused sight picture is as much about correct parallax adjustment as it is the ocular setting.

I have x2 IOR Breaker 2-16x42 and find them excellent. Parallax down to 7m - some find the centre dot too large but for me it is perfect 🤷‍♂️ Got to be worth a look!
