Shoulder bump made easy?

So if like me you struggle to get a consistent shoulder bumps and want a simple easy repeatable process I just discovered these

And a Body Die
Really fantastic I was amazed how good and easy it was.

Quite badly explained as in the end he says it will give you 10 tho more jump if you use it with a bullet seating die… of course it will be 10 thou less jump

I had an issue with 7.65x53 Argentine cases that would not chamber after FL sizing I first took some material off from the top of the shell holder which then broke as it was too weak to pull the case down out of the FL die, then I took 20 thou off from the bottom of the RCBS die which in effect dropped the shoulder down ca. 18-20 thou which cured the problem.
Had the same issue with .338 Norma dies tried competition shell holders in the end we removed 10 thou from the bottom of the die.

You would be forgiven for thinking that all shell holders were the same height but I've had a few which varied enough to cause issues. Generally, not mixing and matching should give the desired results but mixing different manufacturers' dies and shell holders can throw up problems as described. It's easier to not be shaving material off dies or shell holders by checking compatibility. Shell holders are a darn sight cheaper than dies, so why shave dies down if using the same maker's holder should give the desired result? The other odd issue I've had when using hornady shell holders was that it was very difficult to remove the Lapua brass from them. They were a tight fit to insert and some wouldn't insert at all, so it seems there are variations between makers' kit. This is all before we look at what press is being used and possible variations in ram throw....
