What mounts did you use on the monarch btw.. i find the high mounts are terrible--no cheek weld at all.im going to look for lower ones that will fit the BSA.

I zero at 100 yard then have a piece of tape marked every 25 yards on my turrets so once’s I’ve ranged the target I can just click it to the nearest 25 yards

I personally bothered with all the faff of range finders and dialing in. Much much simpler is to zero so that group is about 4cm high at 100m. This will give you a trajectory that is plus or minus 4cm out to a bit over 200m, depending on the exact cartridge / rifle in use. Once out at about 250 you should start aiming at the top or just above the kill zone.
