Simply rotten!

If not roasting a coffin and having to bury it I believe that to save space instead of wasting it on graves as they are is that all we need to do is use a large auger capable of drilling to say 50' depth and then use cylindrical cardboard (green of course) coffins and then drop the coffin in the hole that would have some sort of hatch on it to allow for further members of a family etc.

Due to decomposition and settling every fifty years we could top them all up again lol.
Map out a cemetery like a giant pegboard, space saving is immense.

Here in Yorkshire why not use the redundant coal mines?
There must be miles of tunnels and shafts just waiting for a purpose..............

I quite like this idea developed in Scandinavia where burial is a bit tricky in the winter months!
Frozen in Liquid Nitrogen and then shattered by sonic waves into tiny pieces which are then de-hydrated. Can then be used as soil conditioner!
Could probably also be used as ground bait, pet food, school dinners, etc......

MS:cool:

Not that tricky, just involves more planning. Can be up to a week of thawing the ground beforehand to be able to dig a grave for a burial, depending on snow and permafrost levels.
