Just confirm this is very much the case…..I’ve been pestering for views/advice about kit and rifles for a variation and got replies promptly and in a lot of detail. Really good to have access to experience when needed.a WhatsApp group will be created a few weeks before your date so that you can get info passed to you about kit and timings etc. Also let’s you meet the other guys/girls in a sense (virtually) before the day.
We also keep these groups live for ever in case guys want to contact other course members again to swap shooting days or discuss kit. There is a few running now and I answer questions on kit and anything else stalking related where I can for guys.
Obviously you don’t need to join the group or stay in it.

We have had a cancellation for the March 18th course date so we have 1 free space if anyone is interested.
All will be fine its spring after all now I think.

Evening all,
Spaces remaining for our simulated stalking/training days are as follows:
2 spaces Sat 29th April (must be FAC holders as estate rifle is in use).
Both FAC and Non FAC holders can still attend the following:
4 spaces Fri 19th May.
5 spaces Sat 20th May (Ladies day/will take on guys if ladies dont fill spaces).
6 spaces Fri 9th June.
More dates TBC at The Stalking Show.
Full day of lots of shooting, 100m zero, stick work, 2 varied stalking routes through woodland, open land, valleys, long range shooting, lunch included.
The day includes the following:
- Competency test and zeroing 100m.
- Stick technique and walk up practice 150m.
- Route
- Lunch.
- Route 2
- Practice, zero and testing out to 300-600m. Gives shooters the chance to push their distances check their drops or just get some practice.
Each route has 4-5 targets; all steel target co/toms targets life size roe, muntjac and fox reactives.
Range time is carried out onto a selection of steel gongs.
Licensed novices welcome and we can also take on un-licensed novices over 18yrs old, however would not recommend first time rifle shooters.
Notgrove Estate GL54, 9.30-3.30, £150pp inc estate rifle use, rounds charged at £1.50 per round if needed.
