SKODA Yeti 4x4 tires info required please

Geolanders AT are not aggressive and have them on the front of my Grand Vitara. They are very good so if they will fit on your Yeti then they would a good choice.

They’re on the list if I can figure out a size that’ll fit. Thanks mate 👍🏻

Geolanders for me too. Had them on maybe 4 vehicles now and done thousands of miles across all sorts of terrain from road, forestry tracks, thick mud where they shouldn't be going and in pretty much every condition you can think of. Greasy roads, ice, heavy snow, hot tarmac. I genuinely can't fault them and would happily replace them with the same.

Yokohama Geolandar G015 215-65 R16 fit the Skoda Yeti with ease no rubbing or issues and give a great compromise.

17's on Left for comparison.

Have a look at the Michellin Cross Climate 2s. Superb grip in wet, mud and otherwise slippery conditions and yet very good for every day road use.
Exactly what I use on mine Yeti 4x4 they are very good off road on gravel hill tracks, wet grass and mud. Highly recommended. Good fuel return too 55mpg + On long runs.

Hi.
Obviously i have never tried many different makes to compare these with but i really like the Michelin Latitude Cross on my Jeep.

Very good in the wet. I have had no dramas on a roundabout like my old Khumo ones. Feels 100% stable at motorway speeds in heavy rain.

The Michelins are good in snow too. I have not been rock crawling in them, but let's be honest, how many of us do? They call them a summer tyre, yet they have the M+S rating.

They are a bit pricey but are lasting well. I note they offer a few 17" offerings. I am running 245/65/17 H.

Got to be worth a look.

I put the link solely for the purpose of showing you a pic of the tyre. Michelin Latitude Cross 7.50/100 R16 112 S | Oponeo.co.uk

Thanks all. So I’m leaning towards Geolandars if I drop to 16 inch rims. Otherwise the Michelin Cross Climate 2s seem to be well regarded here, if I stay with the factory 17 wheels.

I ended up with ContiCross LX2 on my Octavia Scout - the choice being very limited by a tyre-size which is not usual for slightly off-road tyres. Also, I swap to winter tyres on other wheels for the colder bits of the year - so didn't want the cross-climate option.

My wife had cross climate on her Astra. Good tyre, but i am not sure just how good at resisting punctures up a forest track they would be. I got them for snow use as she worked out in the middle of the pennines.

If you have (or know anyone with) a Costco card they do good deals at this time of year on some of the more expensive tyre brands mainly Mitchellin / Goodyear and Bridgestone.

Good afternoon all

By way of an update, I decided to drop to 16s and go with the Geolandars in the OEM Yeti size. As expected they fit with no issues.
After doing a motorway run on them I can find no discernible difference in the drivability on road nor in fuel economy. Now I just need to test them on the rougher stuff when the time comes.
Cheers for all the help and advice, and have a great Christmas break when it comes 👍🏻
