Skoda Yeti opinions

I use to run a Renault Kangoo on winter tires. Only the two wheel drive, but would go anywhere.

A4 Allroad on winter tires will also go anywhere other than crossing deep ditches etc. But brilliant in snow, gravel / farm roads etc.

Yetis are good cars. VW Tiguan a bit bigger and more usable.

I've got the last Yeti to come into the country and I think it might be the last car I ever buy.
I think they are doing interest-free credit on Skodas at the moment.

Seems to be a good little car then.
I'll have a look at one once these restrictions lift a bit.

There 1 not too far from me just now that would fit the bill

I looked at the Yeti a couple of times, but didn't rate it compared to the Skoda Octavia Estate. The Yeti is now discontinued.

I was thinking about one for the next vehicle change for the other half but realised they have stopped making them I think in ‘17 the octavia is a nice motor

Rebooting a thread, those of you who used a Yeti - ddi the boot lip cause any issues with loading/unloading deer? I'm after a small 4x4 to throw deer in and not worry about keeping clean. I could put a raised floor in to create a flat landing bay - and it would create space to hide a rifle.
When in full time practice I like my Freelander for the flat easy access boot amongst other things, but it's too big for our needs now

Under NO circumstances get a Lauren & Klement with the panoramic sunroof!
Along with a KNOWN issue around roof drain tubes being trapped round pillars, this....,
A lot of plastic parts involved in the cassette construction, one I had was absolutely brilliant, right up until water started to collect in the front passenger footwell.

decent cars, we ran a 4x4 Yeti for a few years and it never gave any trouble. Also consider the Dacia Duster. All of the mechanics are by Renault/Nissan.
My dad’s got a 4x4 Yeti and loves it; I’ve driven it and it’s like a rocket (2L tdi Monte Carlo edition), and the boot is huge. Not much ground clearance though.
I’ve not long got myself a ‘15 plate Duster and it’s a been good car so far (did need an injector replacing last month as apparently that’s a common fault but fortunately was under warranty).
