Slim fitting wellies - recommendation required

Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend a good pair of slim fitting wellies suitable for stalking? I’ve got size 12 feet and skinny legs. I find when I wear my usual pair (Hunters) they have so much slack in the calves they make quite a bit of noise when walking. Hoping to pick up a bargain during the summer months…

The Grubbs wellies I bought recent in their sale were too tight for me, both in the calf and forefoot and I bought a size up by getting a 12!

Find my Le Chameau wellies are quite neat around the calf, they usually fit over moleskins, but not much room after that.

Im pretty sure that le chamaeu still do various calf sizes. Upper end of price range but great build quality and they really last.

I have the elegant legs of an infant ballerina and I find my aigle very good. They’re the Parcours neoprene ones with the adjustable gusset which I crank to full tightness but then they are a nice snug fit and totally silent. Cheers.

How do you find the fitting with the Aigle’s? Did you order a size up or your usual size?

Yes mine are a size 43 which is true to size for me. Looking at the adjustable gusset I wear it so that it is slightly overlapping, which is cinched up even further than designed but they are completely comfortable and the adjustable clip has never come undone unlike other brands which I have had in the past.

For what it's worth and just my experience but my favourite footwear is a Wellington I use them for all my stalking shooting.

My current go to boot is the Bekina steplite x non safety, now I guess I couldn't really call them slim fitting but they are light comfortable and tough while offering great grip and your feet will always be dry and warm in cold weather, but not uncomfortably so in warmer weather I love them.

Just get a pair of le chameau in the correct calf size im pretty sure they go down to a 41cm and up to 52cm thats the chasseur
