Spare key for Bratton Sound gun cabinet

Anyone know if it's possible to get a spare brass key cut for a Bratton Sound cabinet at any of the local key cutting shops...Timpsons etc., or do I need to get in touch with Bratton Sound. I lost my spare during a house move and the one I have is showing of signs of wear. Thanks for your thoughts/advice

If it’s showing signs of wear then the copy will also have the same wear, plus being a copy it will be slightly less accurate than the original.
Probably better to get a new lock c/w 2 keys from Brattonsound.

If you go to a proper locksmith, they will be able to match the original bit heights and produce a new key for you. For a proper locksmith, have a look on the Master Locksmiths Association website for your local smiths.
Timpsons and the like will probably only be able to manage a copy of a worn key.

Far cheaper to buy a new lock and keys from Bratton sound, i did a few years ago, it was cheaper than having one key cut at a high street lock smith

Thank you all for the comments and advice. Makes sense not to copy a worn original so I'll contact Bratton Sound as seems like the easiest and most reliable solution. Thanks again
