I tend to agree with Griff and Deako, on this one I don't see a problem with someone making a business from stalking leases
yes there are crooks but not everyone is, yes and some leases are expensive, but think of what you are getting for your money
The fact that you are getting exclusive rights, can stalk when and as often as you wish, those are the things I would look for in a lease, if you are not getting these my advice would be walk away,in a lot of cases you will also get the venison.
When you compare it to stalking by the day it starts to look a lot more attractive.
Red stags costing around £400 +tip to stalker £40 per stag is average +trophy preparation £30 seems to be the going rate
Roe Bucks £50 to £90 per outing +£150 per Buck up to medal standard then charge per cic point + plus previous charges
so gold medal Buck can cost £600-£800 plus you still have stalkers tip and trophy prep costs, and if you want the venison
you will have to buy it at game dealers price.
Of course its possible to get better deals but these are average prices.
