Was that a shot straight through a wire fence !
No it was not. You can see the hind died between the river they shot over and the fence. I doubt she jumped the fence after being shot.....

Colin,Richard (fairacre) that was filmed on the estate i work at , i will take you up sometime
Nigel do you recognise where they were , john is the guy who took over from Kevin
£100K gets you 15 minutes of program material, which will take 16 hours of real camera time and not be of the "quality" that you desire.
Yeah point taken Stan, i know that FStv etc rely upon sponsors in order to produce the show, which is good generally. Regardless of the cost, i found that ITVs bit on stalking was about the deer and the stalking/eating/management whereas articles on FStv seem to be more and more about finding a subject like stalking in order to talk about the person or equipment used.
Dont get me wrong, its good to hear about the equipment used but sometimes i think the focus is lost. It doesnt matter how much norma pay FStv to advertise their bullets but if the article loses its way and doesnt get me to watch then the 'advert' to all purposes loses its affect.

anyone notice he shot the deer standing facing right, but the entry hole was on the other side?
then he left the keeper to sort it,
still a good programme.
Seeing as you don't see the shot I don't really get how you can make that comment.
Also I can assure you Mike grallochs more deer than 95% of the people on this site each year, so no need to get worked up about him leaving the keeper to do it.
bob i would imagine it would be too much for the public ,same as the actual shot hitting the hind .show the good bits and hopefully win the public around abit at a time rather than a public out cry of being too graphic ,atb wayneimmediately before the shot the deer was standing showing her right side, the entry wound was on her left,
editing?
my comment about leaving it for the keeper, was aimed at why not show the whole thing to the public.

I think the point being made here is just because you see something on TV doesn't mean it actually happened that way.
A bit like watching Coronation Street and thinking it is real.
Wills,
Countrywise Kitchen series 1 & 2 have been on before. This is the start of series 3.
