Have been using Stoney Point stix bipods and they are the best I have tried. I had tried the B&Q approach, but was not happy. The stix are telescopic and will fit nicely into your backpack, are quick to deploy and extremely light. Well worth the money. They can be found in the UK for about £40 these days.
