Stella Fridge Thermostat question

How do all,

I am in the process of replacing my small chiller at home. I've found a stella fridge, with a digital display for temperature, but no obvious way of altering the temperature. There is a small hex-head screw on the RHS of the display, which looks like it could be for altering the temperature. Has anyone got any experience of these? I'll try and post a photo to show what i mean.. Surely, if it has a digital temperature readout, it must have some sort of temperature control?

TIA,

FFM

It will be interesting to see the picture, how many wires has it got going to it. Are you sure it's the actual temperature controller or maybe just a digital readout of the temp

I haven't bought it yet, so am working with limited info and pictures.. :-/ I'm hoping that someone might have one with a similar setup and know if that screw just holds the screen in place, or as the seller is saying, it could be a temperature controller..

Some commercial fridges just have a battery operated temp display on the front and the controller is inside.

I can't tell from the photos what it is, back off a bit.

Is there a name on the display.

If you get stuck PM me your phone number and I will ring you and see if we can work out your problem.

What make is the fridge there should be a plate on it somewhere.

Cheers sikadog. The seller sent me another video, it is a thermostat control.. Just doing a bit of haggling and hopefully have it as a replacement soon

I got one, don't forget to let it stand for a day or two for it to settle, I had to have mine regassed (that's why they got rid of it) and when the engineer came out he explained the settings and checked it over

You need to leave them stand for about 24 hours if you have had it laying down to let the oil run back to the compressor, as when you lay them down it runs out of the compressor into the pipe work.
