Stock protection

I have a tikka t3 and like the matte finish on the wooden stock and was woundering if anyone uses any oils or polishes on it to keep it looking good and protected for the elements and if so any recommendations. Really don’t want a gloss finish

I know that feeling.

I've just mounted a replacement stock and because I had to modify it myself I had to finish it again myself.

I've used the napier london gunstock finish, which works great, but does make it a bit to shiney to my opinion.

What I am going to do is to use Woca worktop oil and leave it with that.
