You are quite right that the plastic litter is not mentioned in that presentation. However there is a determined effort to replace the plastic shot cups with biodegradable versions and the phasing out of plastic versions is already happening. All very positive but no mention of the significance issue they now have with plastic wad pollution along their foreshore as a result of using steel shot in cartridges using non biodegradable plastic wads.

Plastic litter from shotgun ammunition on Danish coastlines - Amounts and provenance - PubMed
Plastic litter in the marine environment is a major global issue. Discarded plastic shotgun ammunition shells and discharged wads are an unwelcome addition and feature among the top ten litter items found on reference beaches in Denmark. To understand this problem, its scale and origins...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

He probably did and if he is still involved in international competition he is probably still allowed to buy lead shot for practice at a restricted number of facilities here in DK where they have enviromental plans for cleanup in place. The Dane Anders Golding won a Silver medal in Men's Skeet at the 2012 Olympics, wonder if he used any evil lead shot?![]()
Still a long way away from the fibre wad lead shot clay cartridges in 26gm that can be had for around £190 in the U.K.I just bought a single box of 32g nr.3s with biowad for 89kr. That's around £10.70 for a box at todays exchange rate. However the exchange rate is very good for us right now so it's probably closer to £10 normally. I can see on just cartridges that if you want something like Gamebore Black Gold Game in 32g with nr. 5 shot and fibre wads, they are abot 103 per 250. £10.30 a box. But they also have Black Gold Storm with Biowad for £110 per 250 so not significantly higher. They dont seem to have any other options.
As I say our Hunting association has been selling boxes of biowad cartridges at our own clay shoots this year for 50kr a box. Thats around £6 a box at todays exchange rate. This is more than the standard steel cartridges we have been using previously but it's still only the same that I pay when I buy fibre wads at my old club in the UK. Around £240 / 1000 and these would be fine for pigeon shooting.

Yes I see that's an issue to many but it's really only £5-£6 a month if they shoot 1000-1500 a year. My old club in the UK shoots over an SSSI and they must use fibre wads. But after 30 plus years of that rule on the site, they are still finding new plastic wads fired by people that can't put their hand in their pocket for the few pence difference for fibre wads.Still a long way away from the fibre wad lead shot clay cartridges in 26gm that can be had for around £190 in the U.K.
£50 is more than the average weekend clay buster would want to pay extra, then the price of the clays on top.
General option among my friends who I clay shoot with is they would just shoot less, once a month rather than twice.
