If it’s in your head I needs to be done and you don’t and have a bad run guess what you will kick yourself blaming the crud in the primer pocket although it is an extra excuse but do what works for you and makes you happy I clean mine as it feels like I’m doing the brass a service but usually just do it sat in front of the tv when the mrs has the soaps on and it’s too bad outside to get out shooting there still people out there that load with a lee powder scoop and still get the job done I come to learn with reloading it’s 75 percent in your head reloading has gone a lot like carp fishing they are more out to catch the shooter for sales

I still use corn cob and a tiny amount of brasso , then use a primer pocket cleaning tool . Might be old fashioned but its been working for me for more than 20 years on the range and in the field

After de priming in a dedicated decap die I tumble my brass to clean it if the primer pocket gets cleaner great. After resize back to the tumbler with dry media to de lube
my brass the primer pocket has a second chance to clean up, I don't bother with a dedicated tool and step for pocket sanitation.

Brasso in its liquid form teaspoon full in with corn cob media in a good size rumbler 2-3 hours depending on the amount of crud, to be more specific
