To be honest, I'm looking to spend as little as possible, say £500 max. I know that leaves me very few options for new units, but possibly there are a few decent second hand options at that price point.

£500 max ? I would keep saving and not buy something sub-standard, just for the sake of wanting one...

I have a 5 month old fh35 lrf v2 for sale in the sales section which came from Ian Blackwoods . I have just bought a whole airgun set up from a mate which needed money quickly, which included this thermal spotter . If I didn’t already have thermal spotter , I would’ve kept it nice bit of kit
