My thoughts are with all concerned. Even though we don't know all the details it just goes to show that there is no compromise on Firearm Safety. It can be all too easy to have an accident when out shooting if you do not keep your thoughts on what you are doing. I always used to say to anyone I was mentoring "It's all too easy for an accident to happen but once that accident has happened you can not unhappen it", and this very sad and tragic tale highlights that!

As was told to me when I started out shooting rifles. And I have passed on to others over the years, once it’s gone you can’t bring it back. Nothing is worth a reckless or unsafe shot. The deer you don’t shoot will be there another day.
