I have to say it all sounds like a load of cobblers to me and appears as if the users are as much if not more to blame as any apparent defect in the trigger. You have to ask what these people are doing pointing firearms at people in the first place whilst tinkering with safeties. Muzzle awareness is everything.

Hmmm I wonder why Remington has paid money out for claims that are a load of cobblers?
Now I don't care if you believe it or not that's up to you. I however keep a watchful eye on anyone near me with a Remington Model 7, 700 or 600.
