Dropped the bolt in doors,so no panic looked to land flat,on the carpet although from a height' not on either end. Best try it as an outing on Sunday prompted the situation in the first place!
Slid into position as usual and dry fire' HELP! bolt will not lift? Had to use some force to lift and cock. After the bolt has been cocked and the lever is back in the closed position then lifted again and again all is as it should be? that is untill the firing pin is released/fired. I have worked it several times now and it has eased some what, still not as easy as it should be.
Never had to strip a bolt before, any ideas' as to what ? has been damaged/misaligned that I can sort, would be greatly appreciated.

I've a T3x - Definitely recommend stripping the bolt. Although there are not many moving parts, just a spike in a tube with a spring. I'd say your problem might stem from something misaligned under the bolt shroud maybe?

Plenty of videos on youtube on how to do it.

Thank you for the reply.
You are right! The firing pin WAS slightly' bent when held up to view, tried to disassemble but not confident with the 3mm blade slipping out. So into the garage and onto the bench vice, a few blows with the hide mallet and the jobs a gooden'.

Do you store your bolt de-cocked?

Probably a good reason not to, if so...

Yes, but it will decock on closing the bolt if you keep the trigger pulled.
Basic bolt action knowledge. Sorry for the schoolmaster.
