Tikka trigger adjustment

Have adjusted the triggers on my 223 and 17 Tikka’s down but a recent Roughtech T3x I bought the screw hits the nut in front of it before I can adjust it down below 2.5lb… if there a way to adjust it any lower?

I’m also sat wondering why it’s like this when my other 2 adjust lower: pic shows the thread and bolt it hits.

Thats normal. You can change the spring for a lighter pull.

Yeah, normal. Swap the trigger spring out and you'll be able to get it reduced further.

Just be careful with really light trigger pull. Cold or gloved hands or a twig or bit of heather in the wrong place can result in an unexpected discharge.

tikka/sako rifles sell in large numbers in the usa and its probably been change because of the us law makers

Swap the spring. I did, and it made a world of difference. @BE Precision had a discount for SD members at the time

Called into BE precision on the way home from picking my daughter up from nursery.

10 mins later and he’s sorted the swap for me, as well as showed me some of the guns and stocks he had in the workshop.
