A bit of a folly this one, this would be my ideal though, so here it is.

Well this is an 'Ops Ready' 2nd pattern, or rather it isn't as it has the 'S' crossguard, no 2nd patterns got that, at least there are no recorded examples, all 2nd pattern got the straight crossguard.
As mentioned though my own ideal FS would be 2nd pattern blade (without the ricasso), 1st pattern 'S' crossguard, 1st/2nd grip, perfect in my eyes.
The coating is Sniper Green Cerakote, applied by my made Dave at Valkyrie Rifles, I reckon that if Fairbairn and Sykes had the chance of using a ceramic coating on the knives they were developing back in the day, they would have jumped at it.
This is a WIP thread as this is not the finished article, I will be making more though, watch this space....
