Track On Sika Stag

Well done Brian, good track, good read and a good beast.

Sika and Sitka, what a combination a match made in heaven :-D

Well done and Waidmannsheil for both, the stalker taken the beast and Whisky for a nice tracking down and recovering it!:tiphat:

Thats what it is about, good hunting with good company and good working dogs around, for any purpose we do need them....
I wish you all to get similiar impressions and situations, its a very enthusiastic and emotional moment to join and be part of. :thumb:

It was definitely good hunting with great company and an excellent little dog, I had convinced my self the shot was worst than I 1st thought after Brian and whisky had travelled so far and i had almost given up on finding it when we heard her start barking hell of a distance away, I'm sure it was further than 600yards Brian! The shot was exactly where I thought when I got to the beast and when I skinned it off you wouldn't believe the carcass damage, front right shoulder and the spins was black from bullet fragmentation! They are tough, that's for sure!!
thank you Brian for a great week end.

Well done whisky brian you will need to do a bit more crawling in the sitka mate should be like second nature (Nice sika also)

Steve, whilst talking to you today I got the impression that this trip really excited you, even with the amount of deer you shoot this one seems to have been a real memory maker.

Looks like a good team effort that everyone enjoyed.

Great stuff, well done Brian and Whisky.
It proves that you should never stalk sika or sikta without a dog!
