hi, we have too many foxes on our driven shoot but i'm not having any luck with calling them or spotting them on the thermal

i have an idea where they might be so wanted to set up a trail cam to see what's about

i have used trail cams before and find them a pain to take down, take home plug in go through the vids etc etc

has anyone used anything that alerts you when something is in front of it and sends the footage to your phone?

thanks in advance

You can buy a "thingy" from Spypoint that goes into the sd card slot on the trail cam, when setup it'll send pictures to your phone when the camera is triggered. Uttings have them. That's as much as I know about them.

These spypoint cell links add on units are really good, and you get 100 free photos a month no monthly charge. Really easy app to use. @SussexSteve sells them.

I like the spypoint micro link, same system with free images etc, but they are the trail camera unit too.

Thanks, that's good to know as I've been thinking about one. 👍

thanks for this, is this the one that just takes photos? no videos etc?

Just don’t do as I did and put the camera pointing where there is a lot of footfall. I had 500 images of the farmers pigs wandering up and Dow, the tractor, the pheasant shooters...... sigh.
that would start to cost.
also be careful that branches are not in the way as they can trigger the camera and 100 photos can go really fast.
