I probably wouldn't be posting this because I think you are on thin ice selling to a dealer without the proper ticket. doubt if the 35 quid online thing covers it either. look up the regs online. I think most of the trainers are now doing a ad on ticket after dmq moved the goalposts. certainly Jelan and bds areI did DMQ1 in 2006 and didn't update it when the new regs came in. I did DMQ2 in 2015 and the certificate says it includes "Preparing deer for storage".
I don't have a piece of paper with a registered hunter number on it but my game dealer has always been happy to take my DMQ2 certificate number in it's place. Not sure whether this is right or not but has never been questioned.
Not sure whether I need to do another course in preparation or not.
Did this course give you a hunter ID number? I have never done a Game Meat Hygiene, and wondered if the online course allows you to sell game to a dealer?I just did an online course for 35 quid if interested ?
Ngo do the courses only standalone course I've been able to findDId you guys find an get an answer to this??
Cheers
Sat this exam today with one of the approved lantra providers local to me !
Lanta works or refresher courses from memory.I'm in exactly the same boat....and so far can only see the ngo that do courses.... I had a look at the online course for 35 but it states 5 year qualification on it which doesn't seem correct compared to the ngo course any info? ?
Saved me a post. Almost!I already had the large game cert as part of my DSC1 but also wanted the small game one so I did the NGO one that covers both, found it a really good enjoyable course
