Trained hunter number pre-2001 DSC1

This has never been an issue before because I normally eat what I shoot, but I've been asked for my trained hunter number and wondered if someone can confirm this. The DSC1 prior to 2021 (and post 2009 or something) included "trained hunter" status, which allows the holder to supply carcasses into the food chain. Can anyone confirm what the actual trained hunter identification number is? Is this just my DMQ number or should I have some separate paperwork for it?
Thanks!

Its your DMQ number.

You might need to check with DMQ. I had an 2003 DSC1. I recall I had to sign off on the game and meat handling and got reissued a certificate a few years later, which made my DSC number my trained hunter number via grandfather rights. This may have been when the trained hunter criteria became law.
I don't know if you a) need to do this and b) are still able to do this.

I'd get up and check my certificates myself but I am pinned to the sofa by a GWP....it's been a long week.

Yeah I think it's changed from not saying trained hunter to saying trained hunter and then changed back again:) I'm in the middle and have a blue cert with point 7 above on, just wasn't sure about the number.
My fearsome hunter right now:

Basc told me that my trained hunter number was not the DMQ number itself but the code listed on my small and large game meat hygiene certificate?
It is the game hygeine certificate that adds this componant to the DSC1. I did my DSC1 in 2010 that included that at the time, so I am a "trained hunter".. however I actually completed my small and large game certificate (Lantra level 2) with Basc in 2008 as a college side offering.. so merely showed this certificate to my dsc1 assessor when everyone else was sat down to sit the exam and I went outside and had a tea..
