I've travelled in N.C. and they are not short of trees there,they grow (and rot when fallen) at an incredible rate.The forests are managed responsibly too. I doubt whether these folk are native Carolinans.

Don't forget these people had £10 billion to spend over 10 years selling their "man made warming" lie to the press and public. They might be nutters, but they are very very well funded nutters. I'm given to believe that the EU provides about 50% of FoE funds, that is to say you and I though our taxes, as the EU feel it useful to fund a strong environmental voice. You really can not underestimate the threat posed by the green nutters so science, society, conservation and a whole way of life. While you might laugh at some of their more crazy public displays the bottom line is that these people are destroying a whole way of life and, here in the EU, we are paying them to do it.
