Has anyone had any recent dealings with this company. I ordered a collar in September and was quoted 4 weeks delivery. Despite messaging I have had not response. It’s a shame as I really want the collar. If anyone has any way of contacting them other than messaging on the website then can they let me know or any alternative supplier.
 
Sorry, but tried ordering a load of gear from them months ago and got no response at all.

Went with @Specialist Gundog Leads in the end off here who sorted everything out, including customs.

Very pleased with what turned up.
 
Ha ha.. she will happily take your money. Then replie she’s busy, then post on FB pics of her working her dogs on the grouse, or picture of a stag shes shot. Then when challenged, say she’s running an engineering business blah blah, trying to to meet ends meet looking after her employees. Finally order posted .. but couldn’t do it with tracking because it was posted from her home.. about 4 months later apparently posted it to the wrong address .. would I like to buy it.. honestly a joke. I have many choice words for her. But a joke will suffice, that is been very kind.
 
I had a Trollsmoor collar a couple of years ago the purchase was simple and it arrived as promised. But it didn't last very long the biothane became very brittle and cracked which started to pinch hair out of the dog so I reverted to leather.
 
Oh dear, I hope this doesn’t turn out to be the case across the board as I have just ordered from them.
I accidentally paid twice and in fairness the owner responded to my email immediately and stopped the second payment.
No confirmation of order received and no mention that the lead will take 4 weeks.
I’ve sent a couple of emails asking when the lead will arrive and haven’t received a response.
I’m sure the owner is having a busy time leading up to Christmas and hope that I receive the lead within the 4 weeks mentioned above.
Just a shame as I have an errant GWP that would benefit from the figure 8 lead now.

Thanks for all of your replies, really appreciate it. I’ve not heard anything since September and luckily paid on PayPal so have lodged a dispute with them. I think we can now close the discussion.
 
go to karenswood they are and make really good gear
i get my two their tracking leads and non work collars from them
real quality kit and good delivery etc etc
they ain’t cheap but they haven’t fell to pieces either

Looks like! Still no lead and I see she’s plastering photos all over Totally GWP on Facebook of her enjoying invites for deer stalking and duck flighting a week ago. Have you received your item yet @Saff28

I’ve had no reply to four polite follow up emails requesting delivery date and I now suspect she’s blocked my email address.
 
@Powys.243 I’ve heard absolutely nothing. Luckily I paid by PayPal and lodged a dispute. She hasn’t even bothered replying to them. She’s got until about the 17th then they will return my money. Unbelievable, and when I realised i wasn’t the only one then it’s worrying.
 
seems to be a reacurring thing now with some small busineses taking orders then pulling a fast one. i suposse it has always been the case in the wider world but we have come to expect a bit more in the countryside sector. looks like that trust is somtimes misplaced
 
I placed a message in one of the Facebook groups I’m a member of where I’d seen Trollsmoor in the first place. I asked if anyone else had not received items and struggled to get a response from the owner.
Within 20 odd mins an admin (who is pretty pally with the owner of Trollsmoor) posted that he had sent the owner a message, he then locked the comments section to prevent further posts.
Within two minutes I had a message off the owner saying that she will update me tomorrow. We shall see.

After asking after Trollsmoor and people who’d had problems with delivery in one of the Stalking groups in Faceache I got a private message from her.
Told me it would be in the post the following day. Week later and no lead so I messaged her back and was told she’s waiting for materials and was sorry blah blah.
Asked for a refund and it was in my bank the following day.
