Near Lady Grey area of the Eastern Cape. There are a few SD members that have hunted with him now. He has access to various concessions but has his own reserve, which is very large, it's so big it can't be desrcibed as canned in any way and it dwarfes a lot of the hunting areas out there. He has large numbers of blesbok on there, I remember seeing one herd which must have had more than 300 animals trotting past us as we were hidden behind some rocks. Quite a sight to see. I plan on returning in the not too distant future, you've got me thinking now...
his he the guy that hunts double drift

Not sure if he hunts Double Drift or not to be honest. thought that name does ring a bell for some reason. Isn't that an EC Parks reserve? His website is here :-

His own game reserve if called Bultfontein, here are a couple more pics :-

I dont entirely agree on the management there's one shoot it argument i suppose its where you go, one of my first experiences of African hunting was after a particular Blue Wildebeest bull which had a deformed horn

it was a big animal but i still got it as a cull and as i reminded the PH not many people have had one like this

All my management hunts have been after particular animals, you don't just find a herd and shoot some to get the numbers down, you take the animals that the P.H. decides are needed to improve the herd as a whole, I to have taken a Blue with a broken horn, plus other animals that had only three legs, twisted horns etc, all have to be hunted just the same as a particular trophy animal, but are unique in their way, always a good stalk in my experience and sometimes takes days to get certain animals. I DONT do driven hunts, that's for meat hunters only. deerwarden

Totally agree with this. We try to offer the best quality hunt for a cull or a trophy we can. Most clients seem to book a management hunt and then add or swap out for the odd trophy. This way you get around the day fees for a trophy hunt.
